Last updated: October 2026

ReadVerdict — a product of AI-KOS (short for AI Knowledge Operating System), operated by Pax Tibi (OPC) Pvt. Ltd, India ("we") — is an AI reading assistant available as a website (getaikos.com), an installable app, and browser extensions for Chrome and Microsoft Edge. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your data. We built ReadVerdict around trust, so we keep this honest and simple. Earlier versions of the product were called AI-KOS; this policy covers both.

The short version

1. When you analyze something

When you press "Analyze," the article you pasted — or the page your link points to — is sent securely (over an encrypted HTTPS connection) to the AI service we use to read it and write your results. It is used to create your analysis, and we don't keep a copy of the article. Our AI provider handles it under its own terms, which may allow it to use submitted text to improve its services — one more reason ReadVerdict is made for public articles rather than private documents.

If you paste a link, our system opens that public page just to read the article, and then lets it go. We only keep the link if you're a Pro user, so it can be saved with that reading in your Library (see section 3).

A small, friendly request: ReadVerdict is built for public articles, reports and posts. Please don't paste anything private — personal emails, medical or financial records, passwords or confidential work documents.

AI can be wrong. Scores and summaries are a fast first opinion to help you decide what's worth reading — not a final verdict.

2. If you create an account (optional)

An account is needed only to save your Library or to subscribe to Pro. When you create one we store:

We use your email only to run your account — for example, password-reset emails. We do not send marketing email.

3. If you subscribe to Pro

Pro saves each analysis you run to your Memory Library: the title, scores, summary, key points and quotes the AI produced, the reading mode, the date, and the source link if you pasted one. This is what lets you search past readings and receive contradiction alerts. Your Library is protected so that only your account can read it.

Payments are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record — that's why your card statement shows Paddle. Paddle collects your payment details directly; we never see or store your card number. We receive only what we need to switch Pro on or off: your subscription status and a Paddle customer reference. Paddle's handling of your data is described in Paddle's privacy policy.

4. What stays on your own device

The website and app keep small settings in your browser's local storage — for example, whether you've seen the welcome tip and how many free analyses you've used today. The browser extension saves your recent results locally for speed. None of this is visible to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data or removing the extension.

Our own code sets no cookies. Our payment partner's checkout may set cookies needed for payment to work.

5. Feedback you choose to send

If you use the optional feedback form, your rating and comment (and an email address only if you choose to give one) are delivered to us through a secure form service so we can read and act on it.

6. Who helps us run ReadVerdict

Like almost every online service, ReadVerdict relies on a few trusted specialist providers. We share only what each one needs to do its job, and only for that job:

Some of these providers are based outside India, including in the United States and Europe, so your data may be processed there under their security and data-protection commitments. If you'd like the names of our current providers, email [email protected] and we'll tell you.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

7. Your choices and rights

8. How long we keep data

Article text is not kept. Account details and your Library are kept until you delete them or close your account. Feedback emails are kept as long as they are useful for improving ReadVerdict.

9. Security

All connections use HTTPS encryption. Database access is restricted so each account can reach only its own data. Our AI keys and administrative credentials are kept on our servers and never placed in the website or extensions. Card payments are processed by Paddle to the PCI DSS security standard; we never see your card number.

10. Browser extension permissions

11. Age

ReadVerdict is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, please email [email protected] and we will delete it.

12. Changes

When ReadVerdict changes in a way that affects your data, we will update this policy and the date above.
